As I am an old fogey biker, I was hunting for something for this winter that would not get me into an accident or needing me to use my body weight to brake on road trails. Hence, I tried out the Iron Horse Azure Full Suspension Mountain Bike for the hills and valleys in Wales , where I live. What I found was a bike that was a monster of a mountain bike that could fly down the mountain trails and up the hills in a jiffy. An excellent machine to make the most of your stay in the countryside, among the hills and the mountains. It is both quick and flexible to move, without having to wait for a second thought. The ability of this machine to manouvere in and around mud holes and ditches is appreciable.
The Iron Horse Azure makes long distance mountain biking the shortest, due to its use of the superb DW-Link suspension system. This suspension leverages anyone across countryside’s, river trails, and mountain trails with surprising power and efficiency. Fast racing on a single-track is never a problem and a climb is also not difficult. What it’s got to perform this tricks are the DT Swiss wheels, RaceFace Evolve cranks and Avid Juicy 7 disc brakes. This mountain jaguar is made to kill with its sleek marathon run body, being sculpted around the DW-link suspension system. The Iron Horse Azure makes Marathon XC performance an everyday ride to enjoy. The 6069 aluminium chassis puts in a tough and sturdy ride, with no sweat of flex or breakage that destroys other XC bikes on the market. This bike’s 90mm rear travel manouvres on a 100mm fork with extraordinary peak and efficiency. It has been highly appreciated for its speed, support and pick up by mountain bikers around the world and is also preferred by teams competing in marathon XC events.
The make of this bike combined with its design makes it stand out from the crowd. The sleek body and the grip of the open-tread Continental tires work tenaciously in the worst rainy, wet or rocky mountain terrain or slopes. The rear end is bump resistant and never moves off the ground at low and high speeds even at high gear change modes. The Azure’s rear end acts like a shark’s tail end and is the direction balancing arm for the bike. At high speeds, it is this rear end that keeps the weight of the bike down, especially when you are speeding away like a speed monster. The pedals are made effective from contact and shock absorption at rear wheel movement. The pedal makes the reflex to the rear wheel at higher speeds resulting in a traction boost. Though, all may not like this traction boost, as it is arrives as a surprise shocker, many bikers like this bike for the same. When speeds are higher and bumps become frequent, the floating pivot point has an uncanny and wacky experience that no longer feels like a mountain bike. With the extraordinary weight distribution and machine handling, you eventually have a bike that is an extraordinary slope descender. Getting this bike will help you get over your mountain biking phobias and woes.
